Paul
Perez majored in Commercial Art and Advertising at NYCTC. While attending
school, he added the airbrush to his arsenal of artistic skills. Paul has
worked with all mediums from waterbased acrylics, to automotive urethane paints.
"My roots are in Commercial Art", and it shows in his work.
His style appeals to everyone, and Paul attributes this to his Commercial
Art background."I'm like a camera with the ability to alter the image
to suit the contour and base color of the bike". A good example of
this is the artwork that appears on the Pink Floyd Sportster
which can be viewed in detail in our Paint Gallery
section. Paul takes many things into consideration when applying the design
to your parts. Basecolor, accessory colors, and the actual contours of the
pieces. As Paul always says..."The final result should look just
as good at 40 miles an hour, as it does when stationary."
